When I came out for my job interview in Seattle (when I was first thinking of moving here), I was in my second year of business school in North Carolina. The company wanted me to come out to interview at the very end of my spring break. I was in Key West at the time.

So, I flew from Key West to Seattle for the interview, then flew back to Durham, NC from there. (I did actually stay a couple days in Seattle, I think).

Going 1400 miles for dinner tomorrow.

What's the farthest you traveled to turn around and go back.

How long of a stay are we talking about?
I arrived in Montreal on 12/31/03, 9AM, and left on 1/1/04 at 10AM.
I've travelled 6k miles + for a couple of days too though...B|

Not quite my story but here you go.

A friend who is from NZ was living in the UK.
He had to go back home to pick up his visa to allow him to work.

He flew from the UK oout to NZ and picked his pwork and a day (or so) later he was back on the plane back to the uk.
Once he had returned back to the UK he then had to pack up his stuff to travel out to Bridge day a day after he returned from NZ.

He was in the USA for a bout 4 days for Bridge day.

So in a matter of a week or so he had travelled from one side of the world to the other and back again and then over to the other side and back again.

In total he managed 31336 miles altogether:S

Drove to DeLand twice to pick up my Sigma rig.

Once when new and once when returned from major repairs. (Because I jumped the CHIT out of it and it wore out.) :|

Total distance 3700 miles. (two trips from Houston)

I just went 10 feet to the shitter and back. Took about 30 seconds. Wiped twice too, just to make sure.

Uhhh.... thanks for sharing, Geno. :S

I think Clay has me with his day trips to London, but a couple of weeks ago, 48 hours - San Francisco to Denver to Toronto to Orlando and home to SF.

Or LA to Sydney for a week, direct to London for 4 days, then back to Cali.

I think that's about the best I can do. :-)
