lawrocket 3 #1 June 17, 2005 We've had four good sized shakers here in Cali in the last week. While I don't believe that "the Big One" is imminent, it has been almost 150 years since the San Andreas did anything in SoCal. While earthquakes haven't been to bad for me to deal with, I'm finding I am more worried about my family in LA now that I am not living there. Anything think we'll be seeing or feeling the Big One in the next couple of weeks? My wife is hotter than your wife.
Skolls081102 0 #2 June 17, 2005 I voted yes- although I dont think the end is near. I just have a feeling that all these "little" quakes ar leading up to something bigger. For your sake, I hope I am wrong. The sole intention, is learning to fly.Condition grounded, but determined to try. Can't keep my eyes from the circling skies.Tongue tied and twisted, just an Earth bound misfit. goose491 0 #8 June 17, 2005 I have voted yes. Not sure what exactly you mean by "the end" but I have always (always) believed that Cali would break off within my lifetime... sorry guys But don't worry, you can chalk that up to one more crazy man's prophecies... I also think the end of the world as we know it is to occure before I am gone. My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!
Conundrum 1 #9 June 17, 2005 I think we're due for something big sometime soon. It's been 11 years since we had anything of substantial magnitutde happen here ('94 Northridge quake). Hopefully all these 'smaller' ones will ease the tension a little bit, though.
lummy 4 #10 June 17, 2005 My thinking is that the rumblins to the north and south are only going to make it more likely something in the middle goes POP I promise not to TP Davis under canopy.. Were there quite a few smaller ones (like we've been having lately) before the Northridge (or any of the other larger) quakes?

hexadecimal 0 #16 June 17, 2005 I don't know if it's coming... but it would give me something to say when my old neighbors call me to rub it in when they see that we are having nasty weather in Chicago and they are having perfect weather in SoCal (e.g. every day). ACMESkydiver 0 #18 June 17, 2005 YES!!! Fuck all you bastards in Cali, it's time that rat-infested, cankor-sore of a state fell off the end of the planet... For reals though, yeah. I'm thinking our time is coming, left coast. Seattle and LA are s'posed to be ending in megalithic earthquakes. We'll see. I just hope my family is inland, that's all. ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
