Angelfish 0 #1 June 22, 2005 I must really grab some shut-eye. I ran at around 8PM (sun was still up) and now I absolutely can NOT sleep. I've been on line for almost 1.5 hours... and still... So, how do you deal with insomnia? Do you notice that you get insomnia on certain days, moments, etc? Good night. ______________________________ Don't fear the reaper. ... freeflir29 0 #3 June 22, 2005 Funny enough.............I get insomnia most often when I DON'T get enough sleep. Like working stupid long hours. It's hard for me to unwind and "turn it off" when I do get a chance to sit down. I find that having 1 or 2 beers helps. I've been on line for almost 1.5 hours... and still... I run at night too... Last week I ran between 8:30 and 9:00 because it's cooler then and like you said, it's still daylight. Running that late is not good tho... and I find myself not sleeping at all and I'm up at all hours. I've tried the whole Tylenol PM thing but it seems to have the opposite effect on me until about two hours before I'm supposed to get up and then I find myself not wanting to get out of the bed when the alarm goes off. I'm going to try some wine tonight... We'll see how that works after running... If I get up early and work out, im wired all day long and seem to be far more productive.
