Shooting the Moon

Recommended Posts

No flowery post (it's too late tonight...). Just an amazing shot I got of the intense full moon that rose over the Hollywood Hills this evening. And to my surprise, there was one of those rare "you couldn't have planned that one" moments caught.

I hope you all enjoy!

And here I thought this was going to be a discussion of Hearts strategy! :S

Great pic!

What a beauty!!! I ran late tonight and finished at around 9:30 PM (Austin, TX)... and noticed the big orange moon. Amazing.. sometimes we do forget that IS the same moon you see out there too. :$

Thanks. Mike, it didn't make me jump - there were lots of planes in the sky, so I was seeing things flying around alot. But when I came home and checked the shots, was I ever so surprised to see the silhouette of the jet - and so clearly, too.

I've got some others from last night, but this was by far the neatest shot. And yes, the orange moon was utterly amazing.

Thanks for looking!
