How about a warning?

Don't ride in a golf cart at night with a bunch of sloshed skydivers!!! It's amazing how much damage can be done to a body from 1-2 feet when concrete is the landing pad.

when i got to hospital (the whole journey is a blur though) the nurse told me we weren't the first incident that night... ha ha ha

After doing WFFC 2004 here's my take on it:

Keep your head on a swivel, it's worth getting up early cos sunrise freefly loads on Mullins' King Air rock, you'll meet some of the most awesome people, make friends for life, toga, toga, toga, do some flocking, drink jello shots, meet Hellfish, Skymonkeys, and a band of rowdy Rodriguez Brothers, drink a Corona for Chris, marvel at some people's stupidity, laugh your ass off, jump a chopper, party till you can't anymore and then do it all over again. This is the WFFC and i fu##ing love it!

I think we hold the world record for most skydivers on a golf cart simultaneously (while driving): 12!

But you were going forward. We set the most skydivers on a golf cart simultaneously (while driving in reverse) record in '03. :P

What's bad is we were all sober at the time. :D

Keep trying kids:D 18 people and a dog, forward and reverse, done at Quincy the first year tnt rented golf carts. Only one guy had to go to the hospital from golf cart injuries that night but he's accident prone so that injury doesn't really count does it:)

yea, you and your skinny ass friends.. you get friends the size of mine and about 10 will make the golf cart drag on the ground.

Hell I didn't know half those people. It was dark, we were drinkin and skydivers just start to pile on, we had pitchers of beer to deliver to the people working registration so off we go;)

Ah the good ol days:)

Just come to the tandem tent located in the spectator area and look up Fast Eddie, Chief, Bergie and the rest of the wacky TM's and Video flyers.

Beautiful Landings!

Hope everyone is up for a good rant.

You two are so full of sh*t. It's not your fault you just don't know better.

You can't misbehave at ANY boogies without people back home telling you what you were up to while you were gone before you can even tell them. And even if you try to deny any of it they'll just point you to the photos on here or at the boogie video.

The days you are speaking of are sadly long gone. We now live in the age of the Internet, digital camcorders, and camera phones. Plus, lets not forget the three big Ts in modern communication:

Telephone
Television
Tell a Skydiver

It's all kind of sad in a way. I can't tell you how many people I know that would love to really cut loose but just don't feel they can for fear of the wrong people finding out. If you'd like to see what things were like when the old school skydivers were doing their thing you might want to tell the guy next to you to put his camera down as the shirts are coming up.

Well, since I wasn't on the golf cart on that fateful outing, lets see if I can remember the aftermath....OH YEA< I CAN< I WASN"T THE DRUNK ON THE BOTTOM OF THE HEAP!! But I seem to remember using a large number of bandaids on your arm, your leg, your head.....Gee, and there were only about a half dozen of you on that golf cart, right?!
See TallGuy. You can't get away with anything anymore, and there isn't even any photographic evidence of this particular evening..

is that what people say when others fall out of the carts drunk?

If the number of band aids needed related to style points, I'd be on top of the leader board.....or maybe the group that hit the fire plug hidden by the tall weeds might be....not sure!
