CanuckInUSA 0 #26 June 23, 2005 QuoteSteve, there are plenty of women around that I'm sure would help you out so that you could stay in the states. Even if I did get on the fast track to marriage, I don't think that would help me out right now. The INS is set on their ways and when they say you need to leave (without risking a permanent ban), you need to leave. There's only so much one can do under a visitors visa. Now if I could just learn Spanish, change my name to Pedro and be willing to work for slave labor wages, then the INS would pretend like I didn't exist. Shit maybe I could even get away with sueing some Americans for millions of dollars like a certain illegal Mexican immigrant is currently doing to Park County for incarcerating him for being in this country illegally. DeNReN 0 #27 June 24, 2005 There are presently 2 DZ's in the atlantic provinces.....Skydive Moncton and my home DZ The Atlantic School of Skydiving in Waterville NS....there was a third...but they seem to have sold off there plane etc. and there are rumors of another DZ starting up in NS....using a AN2....which would be very cool Moncton is bringing in a twotter July 13th for a week I do believe...and were in the process of finding a plane for a boogie later this summer
fenceline 0 #28 June 24, 2005 Alberta Skydivers is up and going. If the crowds warrant it, the King Air will come from Pitt, or Niagara. Pitt, Niagara and Beiseker are all the same as far as ownership goes now. Only Niagara and Pitt have a full time King Air each.
CanuckInUSA 0 #29 June 24, 2005 QuoteAlberta Skydivers is up and going. If the crowds warrant it, the King Air will come from Pitt, or Niagra. I'm talking shit right now. I may end up sort of settling in Calgary anyway. And there is that legal 900' cliff. If I can wing it, I'd love to work in Canada in the summers and play in the USA in the winters. Calgary is a great city with great summer time weather and it's close to Banff and Kananaskis which equally rock. Who knows maybe Alberta could be a turbine DZ region if interest in Calgary was to grow (let's leave those bums up in Edmonchuck out of this). jose 0 #38 June 24, 2005 Steve, Pitt owns 2 KA's, one in Pitt and the other in one of the other 2 DZ's they own. One of them in the new one in Calgary, and the other in Innisfeld, whereever that is. Abbotsford has a porter that is about 5 minutes faster to 12.5 than the 182-205 to 10k. They have been talking about a new engine for years now. If you really want a good plane, ie big door, you will need to come down to Snohomish when Kapowsins Caravan is here. Some good freeflyers and good vibe. Weve been swooping alot here lately, and have a Tuesday night swoop club every week. Gates are regularly set up on the CPC regulations. Its about 1 hour from my house south, and Pitt is the same during the day (traffic). Once they build the new bridge for the 2010 Olympics over into Pitt Meadows, the drive all of a sudden goes to about 20 minutes! Depending on where you live in Vancouver area, your drive to Sno will be around 2 hours. Traffic in Vancouver area blows.

Mike and Tara are absolutely wonderful to deal with. Zero BS and fun all around but without compromising a safety concern. Like them, the rest of the staff are just wonderful. Are there lots of people? Sure! Check out the site, it's a very happening DZ. We jump one of Paul Fayards (sp?) Twin Otters from 13,500 to 14,000ft. Jumps from altitude, I believe are $33 for experienced jumpers. Tandem/Pff progresion for students. Let's see, what else. It's in St. Catharines area with is about an hour and a bit out of the inner city. It's exactly one mile from the shore of Lake Erie. ... look at me wouldja? You'd think I worked there! lol (I don't btw ) Nick My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!
