How to make folder windows 'refresh' automatically?

I don't know what setting I accidentally changed, but now if I'm moving files around, I must manually refresh, and I can't find any setting in the "Tools/Folder Options" that is related to this,

I'm running XP home edition.

Was it working before?, did you install the service pack?. XP Pro and Home has issues like that sometimes, but they go away after installing the hotfixes or Service pack.

Try that first, otherwise, you might need to tweak the registry.
