windcatcher 0 #1 June 22, 2005 No fair!!! Man, checking out Skydive San Diego and Skydive Elsinore, ( and Perris too), you guys get to jump out of turbine aircraft most of the year, and later you can go play at the beach or go to some cool place like Ocean Beach. This sucks I gotta leave California on monday, how am I gonna get used to jumping out of a cessna again? You guys definitely have it good jumping in this part of the country; I am definitely thinking I need to move near an ocean after college Mother to the cutest little thing in the world... freeflir29 0 #5 June 22, 2005 Jumping near a beach is OK. Jumping ON the beach is much better. I only have one..........not counting an intentional water jump in Ft. Walton Beach. Jumped into the Florabama...........damn fun except for all the sad that gets in your canopy.
NWFlyer 2 #6 June 22, 2005 Quotedamn fun except for all the sad that gets in your canopy. Why does your canopy get sad? Because it doesn't get to play in the water?"There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. Having a beach drop zone half an hour from your house with some great peeps and now TWO planes Rocks. (yeah yeah, I know that they are only cessnas but IT IS AT THE BEACH) If you come to NC come and check us out. Its so beautiful at altitude. There arent too many places where you can land on the beach, watch the sun set into the ocean, put your gear in the car and grab a beer or get dinner at the bar 50 ft from where you landed... Jumped into the Florabama...........damn fun except for all the sad that gets in your canopy. Absolutely the best beach jumping! That of course being the FloraBama on the Fla-Ala state line. The view from altitude is unmached and I like to open high (4500-5500) to enjoy the view under canopy! After you land you are in party heaven (when they get it all rebuilt!). Everyone must come and try it at least once! "You made my panties wet!" Skymama (Fitz 09) "Never argue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience."
