Casurf1978 0 #27 June 24, 2005 I really enjoyed Batman Begins, but still think Burton did a kickass better job. Burton pretty much gave Batman the dark tone on the movie screen, like Aggie said following the Miller graphic novels. Keaton and Nicholson kicked ass, Neeson was a good villian but you cant compare him to Nicholson. Also forgot to mention Kim Basinger playing Vicki Vale. JaapSuter 0 #28 June 24, 2005 Saw this movie late at night, then went home and packed my parachute. When putting on my body-armour, it suddenly occured to me how similar the chest protection looked to Batman's. It only missed the little bat shaped embossing. So I went downtown for a little Batman-style BASE jumping. Morgan Freeman would have been proud of me. Too bad my parachute doesn't work like Batman's. I fell straight down and I think it was air that inflated my canopy, not some sort of inter-molecular static electricity. Kinda neat how they tried to explain all of his supernatural powers in terms of science, and especially funny they used BASE to explain his flying capabilities. FreeflyChile 0 #31 June 25, 2005 Amen to everything you said.... easily the best batman movie... and i LOVE Tim Burton's first one. but this one was just so much closer to the source material. also, it was cool to see chicago as gotham, then walk out of the theater and see the same buildings... now, time for bed to sleep for 5 hrs before getting up to move.
