SkydiveNFlorida 0 #1 June 26, 2005 I have a busy life, had medical problems for a while, classes that were difficult, and overall just a lack of motivation to go jumping. Today I went out and did 3 hop n pops. I had one fun headdown exit (exit was high!), and one really nice swoop... When I was headdown with my boyfriend, when I was flying around under canopy, when I nailed that swoop..... I remembered why I love this sport! So, don't forget just cuz things prevent you from going for a while. When you can't go, you can't go.. but try not to forget how much fun you have out there like I did. sunnydee123 0 #4 June 30, 2005 Don't forget how you love LOTS of things in life that perhaps get pushed to the back burner for one reason or another. I'll never forget that AMAZING feeling I got after not jumping for months due to hurricane BS, when I went back to the DZ and it was many of the same familiar faces and the same feeling returned I had after making my very first jump. Some things in life can disappear from the forefront but will always hold a place in our hearts........ WOW - I'm feeling all emotional and stuff. I love skydiving for a bazillion reasons. Perhaps as we get ready to celebrate the 4th of July and all the freedoms we have and sometimes take for granted we can stop for a minute and just take a breathe and contimplate..............OR HUG EVERYONE AROUND just cuz ~ Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...
