One fast motherfoker.....

I think I got you beat... There's a vintage Radio Shack TRS-80 computer in the box in my parents' basement! We got it around 1979 or 1980 when I was a pre-teen...

Hell, I've got a Mac SE-30 sitting in MY closet which I haven't used in probably 10 years! :o

You admit to that shit?

Yeah... I used Macs in college. It was all they had back in the mid 80's, so I stuck with what I knew. Didn't know anything about PC's at the time.

Now I prefer PC's, never looked back.

Believe it or not, my wife and I have one of those 300 lb teletypes (TTY) sitting in the garage. It was made for deaf people to use with the phone and came out in the early to mid 70's. Nowadays, I do all my relay calls on the internet, free. My how times have changed! :o

We, not exactly beat, it's a different league.

It's what I first started programming on, in ~1977 or 1978....

Here's mine:

http://www.computercloset.org/Osborne1.htm

There's pictures of me 2/3 years old sitting in Dad's lap on an Osborne and then an Osborne Exec. I still have both of those computers in a closet at my parents house. Whats messed up is a couple of years ago I booted the Exec up and it still worked. Loaded up WordStar and played around then wrote a quick program in Basic just for grins.

Man what a cool computer.B|

wow, an Osbourne! Only $1295 back in 1982 . And it had 64KB RAM!!:o That was actually a shitload back then.

My stepdad had one of those "Portable" Osbourne computers. And he used to make me lug it around for him!>:(

hey does anyone else remember those big 'ol Dekwriters? No screen, just a big'ol typing head that thumped away on paper with all those little holes down the sides.
