happythoughts 0 #1 July 10, 2005 Living in a small town has its good points and poor ones. I grew up in a town of about 10K. Something simple like privacy is a double-edged sword. If you are walking along, people will stop and offer you a ride because they know where you live. I think I learned how to savor the advantages by living it on my terms. Tonight I went to see the new Batman movie. The local theater has 2 screens. Each theater has 7 1/2 rows of seats on each side. There is no "back row". You are there. Since the hurricane is causing lots of rain, no one showed up for the 9:30 show. I was the only person so they were closing. As I walked to my car, the woman said that her brother and his kids wanted to see it, so I could come in. The four of us had the theater to ourselves. Quiet, no people moving around, kinda neat.
