WatchYourStep 0 #1 July 11, 2005 The subject says it all. I'm coming out to California this Thursday to see my SO, but she isn't getting back in town until Friday morning. Instead of kicking it at the hotel I think I want to check out the bars and what not. Anyone interested in showing me around? The more the merrier. You would probably need an 11 pm or later session, and you really should arrive well ahead of time for coaching, tunnel waivers, etc. Another day or night, when you have some more time to go over everything well, is much better than rushing. We can also meet another night in the tunnel if you'd like. Well...here is my general plan for the trip. Thursday I say we go have some (more than 1 but less than a dozen) drinks with Frenchy and whoever else. Friday my SO gets in and we are going to go flying. We are going to fly to Perris if their runway is open to general aviation (they are doing some work which should be done sometime Thursday) If it is we are going to do some tunnel and then I'm going to do a jump or 2. They said she may be able to ride co-pilot since she is licensed. If she can't I probably won't do any actual jumps. Saturday we are going to Catalina and Saturday night we'll probably go out. Are you driving to Perris, no matter what? It may not be necessary. I think that you may be getting in too late to fly in the tunnel yourself as you asked about via PM. You would probably need an 11 pm or later session, and you really should arrive well ahead of time for coaching, tunnel waivers, etc. Another day or night, when you have some more time to go over everything well, is much better than rushing. We can also meet another night in the tunnel if you'd like. Well...here is my general plan for the trip. Thursday I say we go have some (more than 1 but less than a dozen) drinks with Frenchy and whoever else. Friday my SO gets in and we are going to go flying. We are going to fly to Perris if their runway is open to general aviation (they are doing some work which should be done sometime Thursday) If it is we are going to do some tunnel and then I'm going to do a jump or 2. They said she may be able to ride co-pilot since she is licensed. If she can't I probably won't do any actual jumps. Saturday we are going to Catalina and Saturday night we'll probably go out.
