RkyMtnHigh 0 #2 July 13, 2005 Squinting works. With that low of a prescription, you'll do just fine without contacts _________________________________________
jumpergirl 0 #3 July 13, 2005 I made a hop-n-pop without contacts yesterday and did fine. I think I can do it, but I'd much rather have my contacts... especially with the traffic that will be here this weekend. I'll run to Wal-Mart and see what they say. You are the only other person I know of with eyes that were worse than mine. RkyMtnHigh 0 #7 July 13, 2005 You will be so glad you did when you get Lasik. Not for vanity reasons, but colors are so much brighter (bright blue skies and vivid green trees), and you can see sharp edges/details of leaves, roadsigns and on windy, dusty days you don't have to worry about the grit in your eyes, you can open your eyes under water, etc. _________________________________________

Darshiva8 0 #11 July 13, 2005 You should be able to get just one box. I doubt they would sell you just a pair. If they won't there's an Eye Master's just outside of Baybrook Mall, which is at the interesection of Bay Area Blvd and I45. They should be able to hook you up with a box. I'm not sure if there is anything closer to Spaceland that would work. ************** For once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return. ~Leonardo da Vinci~
