skybytch 273 #1 July 14, 2005 Somehow, this year I got lucky enough to be on the demo that my home dz does every 4th of July. We put two PAC loads into the high school just prior to the start of the fireworks. Phil (Feeblemind) took a bunch of really sweet shots of our landings. Here's a few pics of the two most important people on the loads. First one is me looking like I know WTF I'm doing. Second one is Keith bringing in the colors. After 900 jumps mine ended up in the closet- but.... I would just die to fly her again on a demo...have had too many opportunities to do demo's and always turned them down....(some very tight, too many obstacles (people)..every year my dz does demo into local airshow. Our jump runs fly over the airport and can't count the times I've checked out the huge size of the landing area there.....- thinking what a fool I am--too shy to land infront of that many people!!, that will be the landing I regret...the one that shit happens exactly when I am minus the soft, long, green grass farm field I am so accustomed to...... shame shame... Now you have to have a demo licence (cnd.) to go on a demo and this year I am planning to do just that!!
