rhino 0 #1 July 20, 2005 Remember to look down or up at your youngster today and to tell them how proud you are to have them as your son or daughter. Appreciate them. Hug them, kiss them, smother them! Make a fun day with each of your children and have THEM show you how to have fun. It isn't about what YOU feel like doing. It's about our kids having FUN!!!! Enjoy your kids! They are only kids once! We are SO VERY LUCKY to be parents. I thank God a hundred times a day for my children. I am so very proud of all of them and I feel lucky to be their Dad! Good Day All! Rhino
airdweller 0 #2 July 20, 2005 Very nice post. Not only are you lucky to be a parent, but it also seems that your youngster is lucky to have you as a parent. ------------------------------------------------------ "From the mightiest pharaoh to the lowliest peasant, who doesn't enjoy a good sit?" goose491 0 #3 July 20, 2005 Very well put Rob. I don't know you, but I've read along and feel as though I've followed you through some of your ordeals to be a father to that boy. So much effort. So many times you could have just given up. It's so very obvious how much you care for him. Thanks for this post, it made me smile My Karma ran over my Dogma!!! rhino 0 #4 July 20, 2005 No prob. We all need to be reminded what's important. What matters. To me it's my kids. Love my kids. I exist for them. It can be really hard sometimes, but then they give you that angel look and it doesn't matter. EAch time I jump I cross myself and blow them kisses, they are the last thing I think of before my final checks. Tia is 8 and Michael is 6. Tia is going to be a natural if she chooses to jump. She is so over the whole sydiving thing. To her friends I am the Mom who jumps out of airplanes. To her i AM THE ONE THAT SCARES AWAY MONSTERS. I like her version better. Thanks for reminding me."Cloudy Skies look different through skydivers eyes. Is that a hole in the clouds I see?" Let's get driving! I always look forward to coming home from work to see him, and he's always excited when he hears the garage door open in the afternoon
 Join the conversation You can post now and register later.
