Eyebrow plucking

Recommended Posts

This is a superficial poll, but I was wondering how many women and/or men pluck/shape/groom their eyebrows.

I do not ever go to the salon to have my eyebrows shaped/plucked/groomed. Every once in a blue moon, I have the desire to pluck my eyebrows at home. Yet, I never do the "work of art" eyebrows, that some women seem to have every single day.

Is that beautiful shape their plucked/shaped/styled eyebrows, or do they line their eyebrows? How does that work? Do men groom their eyebrows, as well.

I know that the questions/poll is highly irrelevant, but some people always look perfectly groomed. It's almost unnatural.

I get mine done at a salon when I can afford it (not that often) or if something special is coming up that I want to look extra nice for. The weirdest part is that my boyfriend actually notices when I get my eyebrows done! Never notices when I get my hair done though! :D

Usually I can't be bothered, but every so often I'll get annoyed and start plucking and will find these psychotically long hairs that I can't believe blended in with my normal eyebrows.

All the girls with the nice eyebrows seem to get them waxed. Maybe I should try this some day. The odd thing is that I have had the eyelash tint and perm quite a few times in the past.

I also have never had a manicure (ok, maybe once when I was 13), pedicure, body wrap, etc. I had a facial only once and a neck/back massage once. I should seriously think about going to a spa. Anyone else care to share any grooming tips? I want to pretty myself up for Spencer! :D

I don't usually bother with manicures, though I'll occasionally get a no-polish one to clean up my hands/cuticles. I can't be bothered with polish because I'll chip it almost immediately and I keep my nails really short anyway.

Love the pedicure, though, and get them fairly regularly, especially in the warmer months. I hate wearing open-toed shoes without some cool polish. I have given myself pedicures, but I find that the salon ones last much longer. You're down in the LA area - the nail shops are so riduculously cheap there you can get a mani/pedi without spending a ton (save the wraps/massages/facials for the spa).

I'm so NOT the manicure type, either! I do waaaay too much with my hands (very hand-on). I used to climb really hard, and I am an artist. I'm always using my hands for everything. I NEVER use polish, either.

Getting a pedicure sounds interesting, though. I do polish my toenails, especially when wearing sandals. The thing is...my feet are quite small and my toenails even smaller. :D Maybe I will go to a salon for help, but I'd rather try for a whole spa day sometime. I want to get a darker tan, too. Spencer likes that sexy, exotic look. :)

Good work, Clay! Some men also shave it bare underneath the "package" for added sensation. It helps to keep everything nice and cool, during the hot summer months.

Geez...I can't believe that we went from eyebrow plucking to grooming... downstairs. Clay, this can only happen when you get a hold of a once-innocent thread. :D

I like them just fine as they are. No (or rare) plucking here.
