waltappel 1 #1 July 22, 2005 When I was attending the University of Texas at Austin, I was a math tutor for the women's athletic department. Anyway, I was in Belmont Hall, which is populated to the rafters with jocks and started thinking about the "jock mentality" and wanted to write the perfect graffiti on a stall wall in the men's restroom. After thinking about it, I drew a large rectangle on the stall wall and wrote, "I am starting a booger collection. Please help me out by sticking a few of your best here." I happened to be there about a week later and dropped in to see the results. The rectangle was so covered with nasty-looking boogers that I almost puked. That was probably the best audience-analysis and creative thinking I will ever do as a writer. Has anyone else here thought up some great graffiti?
