SEREJumper 1 #1 September 30, 2008 I did a search and didn't find anything. Original Javelin owners manual has nothing as well. Saw a 1990 javelin container that stated the H/C is only rated for 185lb gross exit weight. What TSO were the early javelin's under (TSO-C23b)? Sounds like that is pretty light, even for the average size jumper. We're not fucking flying airplanes are we, no we're flying a glorified kite with no power and it should be flown like one! - Stratostar
mjosparky 4 #2 October 1, 2008 Sun Path does not hold a TSO issued under TSO-C23b. But they do have on in both TSO-C23c and TSO-C23d. SparkyMy idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals
JerryBaumchen 1,466 #3 October 1, 2008 Hi SERE, Early Jav's were certificated under C23(c) and later they were/are certificated under C23(d). JerryBaumchen
councilman24 37 #4 October 1, 2008 TSO C23c had three catagories, A,B, and C. A was placarded at 198 lbs, 130knots. B 254 lbs and 150 knots, and C 254lbs and 175 knots. I don't think Sunpath had cat A only rigs. Sure you weren't reading a recommended max on the main inside?I'm old for my age. RiggerLee 63 #5 October 1, 2008 I know it's off subject but what was certified under cat A? I can't recall ever seeing any thing in that class. LeeLee lee@velocitysportswear.com www.velocitysportswear.com
