Cornholio 0 #6 July 22, 2005 Is there supposed to be some link in your message ? I don't see it. If you're referring to Perris's DC-9 Jet, yes, it's supposed to go to the convention for Aug 4-8th. If it goes, I'll be on it. Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! Cool! bellyflier on the dz.com hybrid record jump
Guest #7 July 22, 2005 I believe the post refers to "Fat Annie", a converted DC-4. "Air Conatser" ("Perris Air"?) is supposed to ferry pax to the convention, but the outlook for flying jumper loads is extremely doubtful at this time. Static display is the most we can hope for. You can blame the Mandarins of the FAA... mh ."The mouse does not know life until it is in the mouth of the cat."

A.K.A. "Fat Annie" FAA approval pending First time ever available anywhere in the world for skydiving ! Car via Air (historical spelling) The name said it all — an aircraft to ferry automobiles across the channel. In accomplishing this deed, the Carvair ATL-98 began with a Douglas C-54/DC-4 and a major facelift on the forward one-third. Nose entry, side exit. Jump "Fat Annie" for less than 40 bucks. ------------------------------------- Note the "approval pending" thing.
