He also got to witness me misjudging the winds at 600 (they were way stronger than the winds at 2500), and ride an elevator down into the corn. Luckily, I can still flare AND run, so I managed to kite my canopy out into the landing area anyway, as it was only 4 or 5 steps. Ya know, corn stings! @#$@#$!@#!!!!It's your life, live it! RevJim 0 #3 July 26, 2005 Went out to eat last night with the DZO's Bill and Donna, and the entire Liberty Parachute Team. Wow, what a bunch of totally cool people! (And one of the BEST 24oz Prime Ribs I've even had the pleasure of stuffing down my throat!) Yes, that's all it took to remind me why I love this sport this much! 'Twardo and I had a few cool conversations, and there were no "Buffalo Stares" involved. Well, at least not while we were looking! Vic, I hope you get back up soon too. It's much to fun to miss! Jumped with Al, Sam, And Bill from the Omro DZ at the show....7 of us CRAMMED in a DC-3...it was terrible! We orbited the airshow for an hour watching the warbirds fly their part, with the Shell Aerobatic team less than 50 feet off or wing tip the whole time... Personally....I've seen it many times before...BUT for AL...it was the FIRST time he's ever been circled in formation by four T-34'S! It was some foreign brand...but GOOD! Airshows...GOOD!JUMPING at the MECA of airshows...GREAT!!!
