So do I rinse with saltwater wait then brush or brush & rinse with saltwater?

Dentist told me to rinse with saltwater.. but didn't tell me if I needed to brush first or after

Disclaimer: I HAVE NO IDEA, ACTUALLY.

However, since the salt water is supposed to help with the healing, I would do it after brushing.

I have been rinsing my piercings with salt water. I don't brush them at all.

I think I'm going to rinse, wait a bit then brush the saltwater residue away.

For those who don't know, I'm working on getting my teeth fixed and my gums healthy again. I've not visited a dentist for going on 12+ years. Have been getting scaling done. Was told to rinse with saltwater.

ahhh. well then you should just rinse with saltwater after you brush. If you can't stand the taste rinse again with a mouthwash like listerine

When I had dental work done, my dentist told me to RINSE with salt water. He never said to brush with it. Hope that helps. Now, quit callin' me ugly names... I tried to help!
