But would you rather have us spend our time in the office, or out on the field putting up the tents, fence and mobile offices that make up the convention? Well, seven MILES of fence went up this weekend in that blistering heat wave we had, and now the temp has dropped 15 degrees, and the tent guy just delivered his first load of tents. The manifest trailer is in place, and looks lonely without a bunch of you leaning on the railing, asking for tickets. Airboss tower will be erected this week, while the tents are being installed, and the telephone pole that is at the end of manifest went in yesterday for all the good connectivity that we need. This weekend, the little village of Rantoul will be overrun with the first big wave of volunteers who will show up to finish set up and run the convention. If you feel like coming a few days early, and being a part of the fun/work, PM me, and I'll send you my phone number.
