Crack found in window frame of a Boeing 737-300

Recommended Posts

Fliers beware of sub-standard maintenance on the airplanes that you fly.

You won't believe it, but this is an actual crack found in the window frame on an US Airways Boeing 737-300 and could have caused a major in-flight problem!

#N440US is a 737-400 not a -300 series aircraft. it was made in 1990 15 years old already..

I stand corrected. this picture was originally reported to me as a DC-9, but I knew US Airways flew 737s, so I took a guess. Missing by one digit aint bad. :P Let me guess, you really know your stuff, or there is a database of N #'s to check a plane's status? ;)

Yea, there is. Diverdriver has the website. I did, but forgot what it was.

I think that plane will come up with "grounded. Unknown source of noxious odor."
