You should use a VS2 stone or better so you don't risk it fracturing from the pressure degrading a pre-existing flaw in the stone. I went to a brick & mortar store once to compare diamonds and they were all charging at least 1/3 - 1/2 more over what I could get online, and the online stones I could get with GIA certification.
