jumpchikk 0 #51 August 1, 2005 I totally agree and instead of hurting anyone's feelings in this thread, I'm not going to name names either. Those of you who are my friends, thank you for the laughs, the tears, the fun and all the craziness that happens in between. All of you are the best! Seriously though - Although I believe the words of John Galt: "I swear by my life and my love of it that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine."; there are definately some that I have met in life (not just on DZ.com or in skydiving) that I would do whatever it took to make their life happy. And there are some that I know without even looking over my shoulder, that I would have in my corner if I ever chose to go and get in a wild ass bar fight. Life is great that way.... if you have great friends. It's not about the money (been broke after my dad's stroke, been comfortable), it's not about jobs, it's not about power (cuz that can change with the winds).... it's about stories with friends. It's too short to look at it any other way. Who would be on my list? Probably quite a few more that they know... the short list would have to be Kramer (although he decided to get himself an admit to the hospital on my birthday and made me come see him instead of him driving to see me) SkymonkeyOne (I've only met him a couple of times - but he's the kind of guy that you just have to respect as a friend, and he was a close friend of one dear to my heart - as such, he would get whatever needed) ChasingBlueSkies (I just like to randomly surprise him with visits- it's fun) Clay (despite the fact that he turned down my offer for some toys to play with while overseas... but that was cuz he was busy thinking about other things at that time.... sheep?) I know there's more, but there's also too many of you that I haven't gotten to meet yet.... but with time. Though there have been those who have volunteered to help me out when they had little or nothing of their own, and those who I've worked with, and those who have supported me and/or picked me up when I've needed it (and I have tried to do the same). Is that what you call friends? Is that why they make me so happy when I see them, whether online or in person? Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money. Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?
 The_Don 0 #64 August 1, 2005 Oh i'll see you before that !!
