It might be impossible for them to travel to you...but they'd do whatever they could long distance. I've made lots of acquaintances specifically on dz.com. I consider them all friends. But if I had to name some that I would feel comfortable telling deep, dark secrets to....and know they would do what they could to help me out in a bind, this would be my primary list, even though I might not have met them in person still. This does NOT include people I met in person first, and THEN started conversing with them on dz.com. Many have done REALLY nice things for me like picking me up from the airport to go jump, Driving 45 minutes through horrible Houston traffic and then BACK just to take me out on the town, helping me get discounts on gear, Planning my OWN boogie, giving me HOOK UP after HOOK UP in all kinds of ways.
