Dealing with Mistakes

Recommended Posts

Have any of done something you regreted so much you wished it mever happened? Hurt anyone that you really didnt want to hurt or made a group of people change their opinion about you? When deep down inside, you know thats not the real you? That feeling sucks....

Give some stories about things you may have done in the past that you regret....

PS- Please, no incriminating commentary, like "I regret the fact I killed my wife last night..." etc...

What you done then?

I done a few bad things when I was younger, but I fully blame it on my step father and how he used to treat me.

If its your own fault that you have done something wrong then thats bad, but if its because of someone else then that is forgivable.

At the ripe old age of 48 years, I'm pretty sure that I am well past the halfway point of my lifetime. The things that I regret most in life are the times when I have treated other people in an unfair and/or unkind way. Sometimes it was out of ignorance on my part, sometimes it was intentional but without any real reason.

Although I am not any kind of religious or spiritual person, I do believe that "what goes around comes around". I got the feeling a while back that I have reached sort of a break-even point with the universe, so I try to treat people well--more so than at any other point in my life.

I do reserve the right to be a totally shallow smartass, but not a hateful one.

If you are feeling guilty for mistreating someone, I suggest apologizes to them and learning from the whole experience. It will make you a better person and help you sleep better.

How about "I regret the fact that I HAVEN'T killed my ex-wife." :D Kidding..........I would never kill her myself........is it wrong to wish for the brakes to go out on a garbage truck though? :D

Seriously............no one is perfect. We ALL make mistakes. SOmetimes they are really bad ones. All you can do is learn from it. Move on and try to even up your Karmic balance.
