Rebecca 0 #1 August 1, 2005 Grr. I really want a Motorola Razr, but I haven't quite been able to bring myself to plunk down $200 for it. Then, I saw a banner ad on Yahoo for a FREE Razr with a bluetooth headset!! Yay! Available with new service actiavtion. Boo! Basically, because I already have an account, and even though I'd sign the 2-year contract, I'm not eligible without cancelling my current account and activating a new one. Can you port phone numbers with the same provider? (i.e. cancel my current account, and "move" my number to a new account with the same company?) you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk? AggieDave 6 #2 August 1, 2005 Have you read reviews of that phone? They look cool, but all the reviews I've seen and people I've talked to HATE the phone.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
WatchYourStep 0 #3 August 1, 2005 Have you had a chance to play with the phone yet? A couple of my friends picked them up right after they came out. They look cool and what not, but they aren't overly durable compared to normal cell phones. I don't know about porting the number though. Sorry. Edited to add: Sorry I was typing the same time as AggieDave was. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. Well, duh Becca, no I hadn't read reviews. Why do they hate it? you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk? Yeah, I tried that. The sales rep must not like commission - he didn't give two shits. So then I called customer service and became very excited when they said they had a dept. that could match the online offer. Woo hoo! Then the guy from that department explained to me like I was 2 why they couldn't make me happy and why it was for new accounts only, yadda yadda... But if the phone sucks, then it's all a moo point anyway. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
