jumper03 0 #1 August 4, 2005 All good things must come to an end. And what a damn good thing it has been. For the past two years I've lived on the worlds largest DZ, completed my riggers ticket, learned more about skydiving, parachutes, aviation and human nature than I ever thought possible. It has all went towards affirming my belief that the more I learn, the more I realize I don't know. There's a lot I'm gonna miss - the people, the sunsets, the awesome skydiving, the desert, the rocks...and now the tunnel. But I'll be back for visits so it's not a permanent farewell. It has, as BB said, been kind of like running away to join the circus - and I've thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Well, except for that incident with the naked canadian..... So now it's back home to North Carolina, where this adventure began, to a kick ass job and plenty of jumping and partying with the Parkton crew. Look out NC!!! Something wicked this way comes... As always - if any skydiver needs a place to stay in Southeastern NC - my spare beds are always available. It's been real, it's been fun - and yeah - it has been real fun.
