I am so depressed

Recommended Posts

I just got my invite to my 20 year class reunion. :( I cannot believe it's been 20 years. I've officially been out of school longer then I was ever in school. I just remember those school years as taking FOREVER to graduate.

Oh well, I've not gone to any reunions and don't really plan to go to this one either. :D Was just belly aching a bit about getting old.

I could say that I just got invited to my 10-year class reunion... Would that make you feel any better? :P

I don't plan on going either. There's no one I want to see anyhow...

And, you're not getting old, just more experienced.

Age should be a state of mind not a number. My official age is 26 but damn the world I ain't growin up any time soon!

What I have found so far in this wonderful sub-culture is that Skydivers are so much younger than people with the same number of years on this planet.

But rejoice cause you know some cool tricks that the "young" kids would kill for!

Age IS a state of mind. My GF is teaching me about her philosophy "Have as much fun as is humanly possible every day". And BTW, my 40th reunion was 3 years ago.

Woa. You're ancient! ;)

I went to my 10th 2 years ago and had a lot of fun. Good attitudes around - I was surprised. Did all of you not have a single friend or acquaintance in HS? No, I wasn't necessarily best friends with most of my class, but was on good terms at least....and I was curious what they were like now.

Hell, I didn't go to any of my re-unions and don't plan to. Everybody standin' around talkin' about who's gotten fat and who's still a hottie for her age... bull-shit! I never have needed that kind of thing. You're still young, man! Enjoy the shit out of it and look to the rest of the day and tomorrow. It's only what you let it be.

My 20 yr class reunion was last month..but because the hurricane was coming thru they rescheduled it for next year in conjunction with the class of 86's 20th. I didn't plan to go this year..and probably will pass on it next year as well.

Some say there's satisfaction in seeing the popular girls now fat, old and wrinkled..and the popular guys fat, old, wrinkled and bald and all of the geeks lookin hot.. I don't think that would be worth the "cover charge" for that freak show:P:D I'd rather spend the money on jump tickets anyhow.

I cant wait till i get invited to a class reunion.. I had FRIENDS at school who I still talk to all the time.. so it is just another party with free drinks... Then again..we were a tight knit class since there were only 41 students in my class....

That's too cool! I was in kind of a big class (365) It shoulda been 366. One of the girls got in a 'motherly' way and was 'asked' to not cross the stage. We all threw a walleyed fit but, it didn't help. Anyhow, I hung around 5 or 6 in my class and just lost track of each other. After I got my diploma and the whole deal was over, I put my cap and gown in the chair, walked-out and never looked back.
