VanillaSkyGirl 6 #1 August 3, 2005 I'm finally going to see my boyfriend in a few hours for the first time since January, after his stay in Iraq. I'm so excited and nervous. I couldn't even sleep last night. I feel like I'm going on a first date. I have no idea what to wear, and I am feeling breathless/speechless right now. Can you guys post some kind words, so I can show him that we all love and appreciate what people like him and his fellow military friends have done for us? I'll print this thread out, and have him send the thread to everyone that was on his ship. Thank you!

Thank you and those you serve with for your bravery and your sacrifice. If this country didn't have you and those like you to call on in times of need, it wouldn't be anywhere near as great as it is. Thanks to you too Rosa - being a military girlfriend is not always easy. It's part and parcel of the sacrifice Spencer made. Have a great time reuniting, you two!
