NWFlyer 2 #1 August 7, 2005 Believe it or not I'm spending a beautiful Sunday away from the DZ, so it's time to summarize the weekend... You know the code: humps (or other significant number, please explain):jumps: beer owed :5:0 A hop & pop, solo sit, and a sitfly with karenmeal (well, I was in a sit, she flew circles around me... girl is GOOD!) on Thursday. Two fun 3-ways yesterday, and a chance to meet vskydiver and JohnMitchell and pick up the lovely Leap for Lupus t-shirt I'm sporting in my new avatar."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. O'Rourke
grue 1 #2 August 7, 2005 0:4:3 Did a sitfly with one of our resident freeflyers, he said I'm doing really really good So that was my first sitfly with someone else Did my first head-down dive, just to see what it was like. That feeling of acceleration is I couldn't hold it for more than a couple of seconds, though. I kept falling out of it. First time leaving the aircraft before we had planned. One of the cylinder heads started overheating after we started climbing after putting out a student, so it was decided we'd leave the aircraft at 6k.cavete terrae. pincheck 0 #3 August 7, 2005 1:0 1 chill out jump followed by rain saturday giving up slot on last load for aff student to complete his levels. sunday decided to sit it out with no jumps as felt winds where high for my own personal safety level although others where jumping. mcneill79 0 #11 August 7, 2005 0:4:0 Awesome Saturday jumping at Davis. Got on some fun organized 4 and 5 way, an amusing 9 way and the sunset tracking dive. Too bad I almost lost my shoe on exit, so I spent the first 5000 feet getting it back on. Needless to say I got to watch the track dive from below and way behind. Was nice to watch though.
 Feeblemind 1 #12 August 7, 2005 /5/1 really good DZ party 3 freefly jumps; 1 with Jason working on transitions, the next was a 4 way freefly with one of the cuties at the DZ. It was the feather and the anvil (you can only guess who the anvil was, But i was able to stay with the dive!!) then a cool 2-way with Josh 1 - RW (finally got to jump with Beth) Dive kinda went to hell but had a blast anyway. 1 - Memorial track dive at sunset to Celebrate the Lives of Egon, Bruno, Krystal and Piers. Had a party for one of the DZ freefly teams that was alot of fun. First time stalling my canopy ( wow...talk about scary...but fun!); did it 3 times for the canopy instructor. Also got a sweet swoop/plane out on my 3rd jump, learned a lot about what I'm doing wrong. Had a great time with everyone at the dz, and I feel grrrrrrrreat!
