airtwardo 7 #1 August 15, 2005 How's THIS for BALLS! A couple weeks ago our demo team's camera man downloaded a bunch of video and stills he'd taken during the week long Oshkosh Airshow... Onto a 'friends' Apple, with the understanding the friend would burn a few CD's with said material after the show... NOW this punk wants a few hundred dollars to give us back OUR stuff!! We gave him passes and access to areas and show events worth more than 6-700.00...! He ate our food, drank our beer, even used one of our vehicles during the event. I didn't like the jerk from the get-go, but was polite as always...figured I'd give the benefit of the doubt. The cameraman has been dealing with trying to recover our much need promotional footage and stills...with no luck. I spoke with said pinhead today on the tele, and encouraged him to 'do the right thing' to which he laughed and basicly said pay up or he'll "lose" the stuff. It's really an unfortunate situation.......for him. The bad guy runs a Solar Engineering company in the midwest, not far from where an old buddy I use to run with lives... I called my buddy and asked if he knew the guy or anything about him...he said he'd do some checking. Mr.Asshole just called me back and apologized for the "MISUNDERSTANDING" and assured me everything will be in the mail TONIGHT! I called up my buddy to let him know the problem was solved...my buddy said~ " I know...I was standing in his house when he called you!"
