You're not going to be there? I'll have company? The blow joe jump was definitely a highlight in the probably most stressful few days of my life.... Thank God for GI Joe and a whole bunch of jumpin' buddies. That weekend, I had just told my husband I was leaving. I learned on the trip to Rantoul that he was going to try take my son from me (which he's still trying to do), one of my friends from school stabbed his wife to death and then jumped from the top of the hospital. Dang Yea, I saw.... I had been jumpmastering all Fat Annie's loads, sorta. Don spotted the first ever load, and hosed a bunch of people, even though I still tried to get them out fast, and load #4 I was performing a wedding ceremony in a balloon that night, and couldn't risk the time frame. I was told that Air Boss Dean would be JM'ing that last load so I didn't get on. He didn't. The spotter who will remain nameless gave 2 passes of downwind jumpruns.
