gravitational 0 #402 August 16, 2005 Quote You know me too well When you going to come up? The hiking just up the hill is phenominal. I'm in New Orleans this week, Houston next. I've been told to expect a few other places to go, but nothing concrete yet.------ Michael

gravitational 0 #405 August 16, 2005 Quote Quote I'm in New Orleans this week, Ooh, good history there for ghost hunting.... A cemetary tour and a haunted pub. Was interesting, but odd walking through a cemetary at night. The haunted pub was eerie. Going to find another this week and do it too before I leave. Attached - #10 - Unexplained overexposure on shot. Half moon last night. This cemetary was cooler in temp inside than outside. #14 - An open above ground burial crypt. Note the skelatal remains in the back. The practice apparently to keep the crypt in the family. If a new family member passed, the prior remains were pushed to the head to make room for the new internee. #17 - A cast iron coffin - It is believed to have been a female resident. Victim of yellow fever. It was believed that yellow fever was spread by corpses so all those that passed were sealed in a cast iron coffin. Note - The face plate could be removed at the time to view the face of the individual inside (through a glass viewing window) #27 - All that were on the tour that had digital camers took pictures throughout. Most of us took a picture in this room and not a single one turned out clear. Not sure what was up. The guide took two of us back up to the same room for another picture and the results were the same. Ghost hunting anyone? ------ Michael
RevJim 0 #406 August 16, 2005 OK, Mary and Chrissay get spankings, and Mary gets to spank Mike. I'm sure there will be more. Oh, yea, and what happened that afternoon.... I was waiting to jumpmaster another load when Air Boss Dean (a hellofa guy, by the way) came down the ladder and said that he was just told that absolutely, positivly, without a doubt, Annie was NOT going up that evening. I said ok. Then he said that I needed to verify that with Captain Happy (the other JM), and then come down and (he pointed at the crowd at this point) and inform those people. I verified, and came down to tell ya'll, hence the "1st off, please don't kill the messenger." 10 days of drunked debauchery. I can't complain. Really. It's your life, live it! flyangel2 2 #407 August 16, 2005 Went hiking yesterday with Barb and Pammy. Going again tomorrow with Pammy. Get your ass back home and join us.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds. - Edward Abbey
