solaris 0 #1 August 28, 2008 Unfortunately I didn't find any instructions in skidivesystemsusa.com. I tried to use water and soap but results is not good. As soon as try to wipe dry the lens, fibers start to adhere to it's surfase.
Morrison79 0 #2 August 28, 2008 Just rinse it with water, maybe a little soapy water. And then let it air dry. If its that bad just replace the lense...they're only $
slotperfect 7 #3 August 28, 2008 When the Factory Diver first came out the instructions said to use water only. I still clean mine that way. I fill the sink with warm water, pull the face shield off the helmet and put it in the warm water for about 15 min to soak. Then I clean it with my fingers while holding it under the water. I pull it out, shake off the excess, then let it air dry on its side. I always have a spare ready to go in case mine becomes too nasty to see out of or gets cracked (I learned that habit from experience).Arrive Safely John
arl120384 0 #4 August 28, 2008 All above are mostly correct. Use only warm water with NO soap, and let it air dry. If you need to just rub your finger across the shield to get off any hard stains/smudges, you can with water only. Due to the anti-fog and anti-scratch coating on the lens, using any towel (even microfiber) will cause the lens to possibly scratch of leave fibers on the mask. Unfortunately these lenses attract finger prints like crazy, and waters the only option! Good Luck ARL
