Hey all - just bought a new house, got my broadband installed, looking forward to connecting to P2P stuff on a nice fast 2Mb connection, however an error message comes up telling me i need to configure something to make it work due to the fact that i am working through a router. Anyonedone this or know how to fix it?

It will let me connect via someone else but i tried it and frankly its a load of cabbage.

i'm not sure what port winmx runs on, but if your router has firewall capabilities, the port may be blocked. hate to say it, but RTFM!

ya man. type this into explorer:

http://192.168.1.1/

for a pass and user name, it's both "admin"

click the "Advanced" link on the top right.

Follow Lostinspace's photo. Then hit apply.
