It'd be about a week for me. You would be glad of the zero g especially with those full spaceballs www.myspace.com/durtymac
daniel_owen_uk 0 #2 August 17, 2005 You know when you jump up and down on a trampoline then try jumping up and down on normal ground, it feels weird right? Imagine being in zero g for more than two years then suddenly coming under gravity, thats gotta feel weird.__________________ BOOM Headshot
lawrocket 3 #3 August 17, 2005 It's interesting to think that this guy's job as a cosmonaut on this mission won't be over until probably 2007. He's gonna be very closely monitored medically for a few months after his return. Long duration flights like this? His primary mission is probably lab rabbit to get data and information on effects of long-term space flight. Before they send folks to Mars or elsewhere, they'll want to know what long trips like that do and what the effect is once back in gravity. It'll be tough to send people to Mars if they can't move once they get there. I give all the credit in the world to this guy for giving up over two years of his life (and probably the rest of his life in long-term studies) for science. My wife is hotter than your wife. livendive 8 #4 August 17, 2005 FYI - it's cumulative days in space, not consecutive. His current stint is just a hair under 6 months (14 April - 7 October). Still impressive though, no doubt about that. Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)
