cat vs. squirrel

Recommended Posts

LOL i never eaten one!! i saw it on the news!!!!!!

LOl im winding Walt up about grey squirrelys lol, and yes i dont particuarly like them, the point was he says their cute, and its a little ongoing joke about the little buggers.

Would i eat one, probably not, but hey some cultures eat dogs and other weird animals. so a squirrel aint that much different!

And no im fine thankyou, i don't need to see a doctor, you might need to get a stronger stomach!;);)

Spoken like a man who has never eaten squirrel. There are two things worse in my experience: raccoon and fish-fed duck.

I don't know, red-tail hawk, California condor, and bald eagle all taste pretty nasty!

(Yes, I am KIDDING--and for those of you who don't know, they are protected species in the US. Killing them is a federal crime.)

Ducks will eat fish? That's weird. Not as weird as antelope, but still a bit odd.

Mergansers are the fish-eating duck, but mallards will eat with "mollusks, insects, small fish, tadpoles, freshwater snails and fish eggs."

A vegetarian mallard is almost edible. A fish-eating mallard is disgusting.

Any true sportsman will tell you that you don't kill what you're not going to eat. This is the only reason that I will fish but not hunt. I hate the taste of everything that is game, be it bird or mammal, but some are worse than others.

What's that about antelope?

Rhonda Lea,

If I may interject here, Mike111 makes his anti-grey squirrel remarks at every opportunity because in the UK, where he lives, the grey squirrels are wiping out the populations of other, more people-friendly squirrrels.

Walt

Then he should get out the trusty rifle and go squirrel hunting.

As long as he remembers to eat what he kills.

I used to let them come in the apartment, where they would jump up on the couch and get nuts.

I was impressed with them coming up and taking them out of your toes. :D

No kidding--normally my toes just don't smell all that great and squirrels have an awesomely keen sense of smell.
