This is the second day in a row I have had to do this...this is also the second day in a row I have seen the most amazing sunrises Tommorow much more of the same, though I get to sleep an extra half hour! I have admired so many sunsets...it is nice to get the chance to see the sunrise first thing in the morning, what a wonderful day (for me anyway) to start my day. Now if someone would turn down the AC in this building, im freezing! I spent all morning out side today! now im shivering in the AC! OHHH!!! 6 min and I get to go home! and I will be home 5 min after that She is not a "Dumb Blonde" - She is a "Light-Haired Detour Off The Information Superhighway." eeneR TF#72, FB#4130, Incauto
eeneR 3 #7 August 17, 2005 QuoteWhere are you going so early? I needed to be onsite at a field location at 6:30 this morning....an hour away. So I had to get up at 4:30 to get the dogs out and get myself ready to go....to leave by 5:30. The nice thing, you start work @6:30, dont take a lunch...and get to leave at 2! ChasingBlueSky 0 #8 August 17, 2005 Was at the office at 6am on Mon and Tues this week....the sunrise yesterday as I was getting onto Lake Shore Drive was amazing. Unlike you, however, no lunch break at at the office until 7p_________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... Flapjack 0 #10 August 17, 2005 When I worked nights for WCOM in Dallas we would sometimes take our morning break at sunrise. It was somewhat energizing to finish off the shift.
Dagny 0 #11 August 17, 2005 4:30 am....ouch! Worse than having to get up so early, I think, is when you have to get up and it's dark outside and then when you come home from work it's dark outside again. I like the time just before the sun rises...that was my favorite time to run. The world just seemed quieter at that particular moment in time. Glad to see you're making the best out of your early mornings!!Take me, I am the drug; take me, I am hallucinogenic. -Salvador Dali

flyangel2 2 #13 August 18, 2005 QuoteI so know what you are saying..... There is just something about a sunrise..... Now this will really get to Renee: Nothing like waking up the next morning after hiking all day, unzip your tent, and lay there and watch the sunrise What's even better is when some one else is up making the coffee and brings it to you.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds. - Edward Abbey
