So how about it men? Why do you let yourself get out of shape? Why do you not stay in shape or get in shape? (This of course does not apply to all men. I know a few personally who are dedicated to being in shape.)
Because you don't need to be in a good shape, to be a good skydiver.
Skydiving is more about bodycontroll, not strength, or even much fitness.
Surfing is also about bodycontroll, but much more about strength and fitness.
Beside, riding a 12 ft. wave is a much greater thrill than just hopping out of an airplane...and I really love jumping out of planes.

Oh...and getting wiped out of a 12 ft. is also a greater thrill, than a multiple linetwists (at least on my 190 ft², hehe).
Surfer > Skydiver

No no no, people, jeez....balance, then fitness, and certain muscles (mainly core balance muscles) have to be toned. Lifting wieghts isnt going to get you the 'kind' of muscles you need for surfing, for instance.
Balance board, skateboarding, balance push ups, situps, swimming are all going to get you in shape for surfing.
Skydiving involves a different kind of balancing act but it still requires balance...just in another sense. Youre using your bodys mass and volume to balance yourself in a 120 mph wind as opposed to shifting your weight towards your center of gravity.

The measured Kilometer is from about 8900 ft to 5500 ft..
You pull out of the dive... you slow down.. you deploy... about 3k to 2500ft
No problem... the G's are KEWL

Hmm let me see if the foot locker with the leather and toys is easily accessible.
QuoteNah the dive is from 13500
