Bolas 5 #1 August 18, 2005 I hate to say it but surfboards are in better shape than canopies: Surfboards are firm, well shaped, and have cool fins for stabilizers. They use one thick line to connect to the user that can break away if necessary Canopies are have no support, no shape without wind, and no cool fins. They have to use lots of small lines to connect to the user. The lines don't break normally and can slice you to ribbons. It's no comparison. Nope, you have to successfully "Hang 10" on a pipeline using only your canopy. No landing in the water, you have to paddle your canopy out.
