ACMESkydiver 0 #1 August 19, 2005 No kidding!!!! You are just NOT gonna believe this! So I'm heading onto campus for some flight sim time. I have a friend that does security, & he sees me & pulls up & tells me that I need to hide anything at all in the truck, they've had a really bad rash of cars broken into and stolen in the last few days (2 in 2 days stolen). -Happens all the time, what can I say, my school is a ghetto... So I hid everything, then roll up the windows/moon roof. I had rear light on as I was grabbing my books, & I forgot & left it on. I cover the DVD player with my bucket hat, hit the lock button on the door handle, & rush out to meet my instructor. As I'm coming back out, I can't find my keys! Must have dropped them or locked 'em in the truck... I look in the door and the keys are in the ignition. Shit. However, for some stupid reason, I try to open the driver's side door and it's open (remember I locked it for sure!) I get in, and the key is cranked forward to the accessory...I try to kick it over and I get nothing; dead battery. Nothing except my CD's start flipping around in the CD player (6 CD in-dash, so it's shuffling for some reason ) then that shuts off too. My hat was on the console, and the DVD player was showing. SOOOOO....I am a COMPLETE dumb ass and left my keys either inside the truck or dropped on the ground, but because I left the light on, I killed the battery, and the dude couldn't crank the engine, & couldn't get my CD's out of the player!! Can you belive that shit?! Man the luck...~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
