Well on the hike I did about a month ago, there was some snow around.

Note the pile of rocks, that is what let me know if I was going in the right direction or not.

Lookie where I took Barb and Pam on their visit to me.

Nice you took them into your back yard. whisper- you might want to think about mowing the grass before you invite anyone else over. REDNECK :P

I see pics of Pam but where are the pics of Barbara.

There was snow on the ground where I was hiking last weekend too...

They generally don't come up this high and elect to stay on some of the calmer, flatter trails. We did one yesterday (can't think of the name) that started at 10,500 and peaked at 12,500 just south of Breck. There wasn't anyone there...

You talking about the snake? Thats Barb?

I'd love to post a picture of Barb for you, but she didn't like any of the pictures I took. Once Pam gets caught up at work, maybe she can post one.

Now get your butts out here.

I'm ready. When should I expect my tickets to arrive?

Well, do some checking and let me know what the price would be. Renee is heading out in Oct. Maybe you could come out the same weekend.

Yup, I know what it's called, but didn't think other non-hikers would know.

I'm kind of lazy, I don't add on to the rocks when I have 50 pounds on my back.

Isn't it great living were we live?

I think once Pam gets caught up, she'll post some pictures too.

Hmmm...lived 5 months in FL and yearned for a kickass view in CO...
Got it...

btw, when you can't see the mountain, the weather is about to suck...

(remove snow from picture to get a sense of what it's like now - forgive me, I'm not at home to get a more recent picture)
