BillyVance 35 #1 August 25, 2005 Well, this actually came about from a post in the Walt or J0nes poll thread... Something mentioned about the two biggest post whores, which is not either one of them, it's Freeflir29 and AggieDave. So... I know both Clay and Dave are cool people, but if you really had to choose between them, who would you have dinner with? Dave's sense of humor more closely resembles mine, so I'm inclined to vote for him. Sorry, Clay! Oops! I had accidentally called Clay "Jay"... Sorry dude! NWFlyer 2 #21 August 25, 2005 QuoteI've actually had dinner with Clay - the one and only time we've met. I found him to be quite culturally refined, despite the fact that he ate his sushi with his fingers. In this case, Clay wasn't quite as unrefined as you might think. From the New York Times (emphasis added): http://www.nytimes.com/2004/04/21/dining/21SBOX.html?ex=1397880000&en=27dd6e5fe68b2976&ei=5007&partner=USERLAND QuoteThe sushi bar diner is expected to order from the chef (but drinks and other food from the waiters), to pick up each piece with fingers or chopsticks (both are correct) and to eat it in one or two bites without putting it back on the plate. I've read in other places that sushi's okay with your fingers, but sashimi should be eaten with chopsticks. Shotgun 1 #23 August 25, 2005 Hmm.... Well, Dave (being a fellow Texan and all) would probably know a thing or two about eating some good bbq, so I could probably have dinner with him... But Clay, with this little sheep fetish he has, God only knows where that boy's hands have been, so I'm not so sure about having dinner with him. swedishcelt 0 #24 August 25, 2005 I have already had dinner with Clay, Paige and Ari and friends last year when I was visiting the tunnel in Fla. I voted Dave because it would be new.
