Kris 0 #31 August 29, 2005 QuoteAnd you're doing a damn fine job. Nice highjack. This thread was to give credit to some skydivers who did a fine job representing us to millions, but thanks to you, it's gone right into the toilet. If anyone else is still reading this at this point, please let me know who these jumpers were, or if you know them, thank them for us. Eesh! No kidding, Jack, my Hawiian shirt brother! Hopefully someone puts it up on SkydivingMovies.com as I'd really like to check it out.Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Just a suggestion: next time, post in General Skydiving Discussions. You'll find a more receptive audience there. After all, The Bonfire is "for non-skydiving related discussions." On topic, is there any video on the 'net of the jump? Living in Australia, I don't get NASCAR.

bbarnhouse 0 #38 August 29, 2005 QuoteThe Bonfire is "for non-skydiving related discussions." Not so. One can post anything in here although the following should be noted: "Sit back and relax! Please take politics, guns and religion to the Speakers Corner. " The idea is to post in the most appropriate forum. As Bonfire gets the most views, often times people will post in here for that reason. Chances are it will get lost quicker as well, but thats what happens when posting in Bonfire. I can tell you who flies the demos for the NHRA and flies under an NHRA canopy. That would be Jason Peters from Skydive Arizona.(not to hijack your thread jce but thought this was a great place to add this)
jceman 1 #39 August 29, 2005 Thanks, Betsy. As for your "highjacking", at least it was related to the topic I started on, and I find that immensely cool. 'Sides, you can't hardly done no wrong by me, anywho. Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money. Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them? skycat 0 #40 August 29, 2005 Did they stand this one up? The last 3 times I've seen on the nascar pre-race the jumpers have face planted the landing.Fly it like you stole it!

Sure do, jumped into Kitty Hawk with him a couple of years ago and Cal Speedway a few times. Skycat, I don't think you saw Mark do a face plant on a demo. masterrig 1 #45 August 30, 2005 I've never seen him face-plant. It wasn't him at the race a couple weeks ago either. I hope, I didn't infer that it was? When I was working on my Master cert. he was one of my instructors (as I've mentioned here) I earned a ton from he and Sandy, both. I consider Mark, as one of my dearest friends.
