(south beach diet) thing is those first two weeks you are pretty m,uch losing water weight. after that you can continue loosing weight but not quite as fast. I am just starting my 3rd week. I did cheat some on the weekends b/c I spend the whole day at the DZ so I had to eat fast food but you can still limit the shitty types of food and that will have a HUGE difference on your weight. I also still run quite a bit but until I tried the Deit I wasnt really loosing weightr.
