Rebecca 0 #27 August 31, 2005 QuoteMessy food is fun. Ever go to Renaissance Fairs & get one of those big smoked turkey legs? I usually bring my pewter mug & get a pint of stout or brown ale & eat a big ol' turkey leg. You can use it to point & gesture at people while you're talking to them. I LOVE THAT!! Makes me feel like a carnivore! you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

SpeedRacer 1 #30 August 31, 2005 So I take it you've never sat down to pick crabs or crawfish either? Man if you leave out messy finger food, you really miss out on a lot. Finger food seems to have really taken off in America more than in UK or Europe. We've got corn dogs, barbecue, corn on the cob, ice cream in cones, etc. We've got clam bakes, lobster, steamed crabs, crawfish, and other things where you gotta break open a little shelfish & pick out the meat. It's fun, but I think less common across the pond. Some of my earliest memories are being in Baltimore, eating steamed crabs out on the picnic table that's covered with newspaper. I could eat a lot of crabs back then before I started drinking beer along with them. It's the beer that fills you up. Baltimore steamed crabs with Old Bay.....YUMMMMM!!!! hexadecimal 0 #40 September 1, 2005 Every time I hear "corn on the cob", a rather disgusting story a friend once told me while drunk comes to mind.
