SpeedRacer 1 #1 September 1, 2005 Hey I've got to find one of those inflatable guestbeds for my brother & his wife. I got this el cheapo one at KMART : Flocked Foamtop Airbed by INGEAR Over night the air gradually leaks out so you gotta re-inflate it in the middle of the night. My brother only weighs about 140 or so, and his wife less than that, so WTF. can't find the frikkin receipt or warranty. Does anyone have any suggestions what would make a reliable guest bed, that can deflate or somehow collapse when not in use? Frenchy68 0 #3 September 1, 2005 Aero air bed has worked wonders for me when I needed it. highfly 0 #5 September 1, 2005 He he reminds me of the time I went camping in a place called Rotorua in NZ. We stayed at a campsite called cosy cottage. This was a thermally heated campsite. The ground in places was reaching 35c I had blown up the dbl air bed to our liking and then we went out siteseeing. By the time we got back in the evening the airbed had expanded so much the plug had popped out. The trouble was with the thermally heated flooring it caused the air in the bed to expand. Wasnt happy about pumping the mattress up at 2am but we were warm all night long www.myspace.com/durtymac
dixieskydiver 0 #6 September 1, 2005 The damned Coleman ones aren't any better. I've used two, same problems. I even searched it for little holes and taped and sealed two suspected ones and it wasn't much better. SpeedRacer 1 #8 September 1, 2005 if they replace it with the same thing, it probably won't be any better. Speed Racer --------------------------------------------------

The one I got cost like $60 or $70 or something. Speed Racer --------------------------------------------------
IanHarrop 42 #10 September 1, 2005 Here's a solution, just take it back to Walmart --- My wife and I fought constantly, Why I married her I'll never know. For all those miserable years I said My wife has got to go! Tried poisoning cakes, stripping her brakes, Salting her pork chops with lime. Wiring her chair, igniting her hair Even though playing with fire is a crime. But I failed at each plot 'til I suddenly thought Of a way that would set me free! I got rid of her for good and, know what? They couldn't do a thing to me! I took her back to Wal-Mart! They'll take anything back you know! They said they couldn't recall selling her, But they must have if I said so. They'll take anything back at Wal-Mart, Though it's broken or rotten or sweet. And know what else? This time of year You don't even need a receipt! They just credited her to my Visa and said, "Y'all come back now, 'ya hear?" They were so nice, polite, pleasant and insistent, I'll take back her mother next year!"Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy
SkymonkeyONE 4 #11 September 1, 2005 They sell some of them with an air pump that automatically turns on when the pressure drops to a certain level.
wmw999 2,560 #12 September 1, 2005 I've found that really cleaning the air hole makes a big difference. I.e. with a wet handkerchief, in the hole and around the stopper. That way little pieces of grit won't hold it open. But as it gets colder over night (if you live in a colder place) it'll deflate some regardless because of air temperature. AndyMan 7 #13 September 1, 2005 We had really good luck with an Aerobed. They're a lot more expensive, but they really do work well. _Am__ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.

That would explain why I ended up on the ground at Lost Prairie. Well, that and I bought the cheapo bed for $40."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please.
